Nooshin Safari

Former Ph.D. student

Nooshin Safari is a postdoctoral computational neuroscientist at the University of Virginia. She earned a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from George Mason University, followed by a Ph.D. in Neuroscience under the supervision of Dr. Frank Krueger. During her time in the SCI:FI lab, her research focused on analyzing data related to human trust propensity and investigating the neural basis of sex differences in trust propensity and emotional processing. This included examining gray matter and white matter connectivity strength. Her research goal was to better understand the neural structures underlying these differences and their implications.
